Tarot puzzle online: piece together the card of the day
A new card every day, the same one for everyone. Pick a difficulty, swap the pieces, and save the finished card as a wallpaper.

Laying out the pieces…
✦ The puzzle of the day earns 3 bronze keys once a day
How does the tarot puzzle work?
The card of the day lies face down on the table. Choose how many pieces to cut it into and tap Solve today's puzzle: the card turns over and scatters across the board. Drag a piece with your finger or the mouse to where it belongs, and the piece that was there takes its old spot. You can also tap two pieces in a row, or use the arrow keys and Enter.
A piece that lands in its spot flashes gold, and the seams between neighbours that are both in place disappear, so the picture heals as you go. Above the board you can see how many pieces are already in place. When they all are, the frame lights up and the card's name and a short meaning appear below it.
Stuck? Turn on Ghost image and the whole card shows through beneath the pieces, while misplaced ones turn see-through. Preview shows a small copy of the card in the corner of the board. The clock starts on your first move, not when the page opens, so take your time looking at the picture first.
Which difficulty should you choose?
There are four: 3×3 (9 pieces), 4×4 (16), 5×5 (25) and 7×7 (49). Most people start with 3×3 and finish in a couple of minutes. At 5×5 you start reading details: the horizon line, the folds of a robe, the colour of the sky. 7×7 is for people who like a long puzzle, where every symbol has to be recognised from a fragment.
Your difficulty is remembered on this device. You can switch at any time with the Difficulty button under the board, and the puzzle reshuffles at the new size.
Puzzle of the day and free play
The puzzle of the day is identical for everyone: the same card and the same shuffle, so comparing times with friends is fair. A new card arrives at midnight Moscow time, and once you finish, a countdown shows how long until the next one.
After the daily puzzle, free play opens: Another card shuffles a random card from the deck. Play as many as you like. Free play doesn't earn keys, but it's an easy way to work through the whole deck.
What you earn
Finishing the puzzle of the day at any difficulty earns 3 bronze keys, once a day. Keys are part of Tayna's Keys game: they collect in your key box and pay for readings. If you aren't signed in, your keys wait for 24 hours. Sign in or create an account and they move over. The reward counts toward the daily activity cap.
Signed in, your best time for each difficulty is saved to your account. As a guest, it's kept in this browser. The server checks every game, so solves faster than any human could manage don't count.
Wallpaper and the card's meaning
Once the card is complete, Download wallpaper saves it in high resolution. The English site gives you the English caption, the Russian site the Russian one.
A puzzle is a good excuse to really look at a card. Building it piece by piece, you notice details you'd usually skip. Then open the card's meaning: upright and reversed, in love, at work and as advice.
