What is a tarot quiz and why take one?
A tarot quiz is a short test of card knowledge: what an arcanum means, which symbols it carries, what it says about love and work, which number it holds. Every question ends with an explanation, so even a wrong answer teaches something. After a dozen quizzes the meanings start to click at first sight, and reading a spread gets easier.
Quizzes fit the moments when a long article doesn't: a queue, a commute, the minutes before sleep. Five questions take a couple of minutes. When you want more depth, the explanation links straight to the full card page with its upright and reversed meanings, advice and combinations.
How Tayna's quizzes work
The whole quiz runs on one page: questions change without reloading, your answer lights up right away and an explanation follows. At the end you see your score, a review of every question and the next quizzes in the theme. There is no changing an answer, the first one counts.
There are three lengths: express with 3 questions, standard with 5 and exam with 10. Questions come from a set two to three times larger than the quiz and are shuffled each time, options included. Learning the order won't help, only knowing the cards will.
Quizzes you have finished get a check mark, and the ones finished without a single mistake get a gold star, so you can see which themes are already yours.
What keys do quizzes give?
A flawless run earns as many bronze keys as the quiz has questions: 3, 5 or 10. The reward comes for the first perfect run of each quiz, and you can replay any quiz for practice without limits. The quiz of the day, 5 questions from every theme that are the same for everyone, gives 5 bronze keys once a day for a flawless run.
Quiz keys count toward the daily activity cap of 100 bronze. Anyone can play, and keys collect in the box of signed-in players. If you are not signed in yet, the reward waits for 24 hours: sign in and the keys move to you. All the rules are in the Guide.
Questions and answers
How many times can I take the same quiz?
As many as you like. Questions are picked anew and shuffled every time, so a replay is real practice rather than memorising an order.
Why didn't I get keys for a second flawless run?
Keys for a quiz come once, for the first flawless run. Replays help the knowledge stick, and new keys wait in other quizzes and in the quiz of the day.
Do I need to sign in to play?
No, quizzes are open to everyone. Signing in puts the keys into your box and keeps your quiz marks on every device.
Where do the questions come from?
Tayna's editors write them from the card meanings on the site, the Rider-Waite tradition and the rules of the service. Each fact is asked in one quiz only, so questions never repeat.
