Which tarot cards speak of work and career?

This quiz tests how well you tell apart the cards of work and career. The topic is broad, so the questions cover four situations: looking for a new job, running your own business, success and recognition, and the moment you want to leave. Each has its own key cards, and it helps not to mix them up.

A new job is most often shown by the Ace, Page and Three of Pentacles and by the Fool. The Page describes stepping into a role as a learner: an internship, a probation period, a first job in a new field. The Three is a team where your skills get noticed. The Eight of Pentacles ties a post to craft and suggests updating your portfolio. Your own business shines through the Magician, the Emperor, the Three of Wands and the King of Pentacles: initiative, structure, expansion and a mature company.

Success comes in different forms too. The Six of Wands is recognition others can see. The Chariot is a victory won by willpower. The World is a goal reached all the way. The Sun is a result that brings joy.

What do the cards say when you want to leave?

The Eight of Cups, Death, the Six of Swords and the Ten of Wands speak of leaving a job most often. Their reasons differ: the meaning has gone, a chapter has closed, you long for calmer water, or the load has become too heavy. Judgement adds a call toward a new direction, and the Two of Wands a plan worth leaving with.

Some cards argue against a hasty exit. The Emperor recalls stability and a clear place in the system, the Three of Pentacles a team that values you. The Hanged Man in a job search is not a rejection but a pause you can use to rethink.

How the quiz works

Each round has five questions from twelve, with shuffled options. Tayna keys go to a round without a single mistake. The cards don't make career decisions for you; they help you see the situation from another side and ask yourself sharper questions before you act.

  2. 2. The Eight of Cups and the Ten of Wands both speak of quitting. How do the reasons differ?

Right answer: Lost meaning versus overload

The Eight of Cups leaves because the meaning is gone. The Ten of Wands, because the load is too heavy to carry.

  3. 3. Who, in a question about your own business, is the entrepreneur with every tool on the table?

    Right answer: The Magician

The Magician says your skills and resources are enough to start. What matters is taking the initiative and showing your product.

  4. 4. The Hanged Man in a job-search reading means a rejection.

  5. 5. Which card says you are chosen from among several candidates?

    Right answer: Six of Wands

The Six of Wands is recognition: your CV gets praise, and the role offered may be higher than you hoped.
